Everlucky supplies two screw conveyors to customer, a manufacturer and distributor of paper and packaging products, which is installed at its facility in Horwich and is used primarily to complete the transfer of bulk materials from the loading location to the higher palletizing position. Tilted belt conveyors have not kept up with demand because tilting means that there is a possibility that the slope is too large, and the product may slip during transfer. Our two conveyors, one with three spirals and one with three half spirals, can achieve continuous, smooth vertical transport in any direction, with a small footprint.
According to Paul, project manager of the company, the biggest advantage of our screw conveyors is that, unlike other slat conveyors, the conveying surface is not built on a wear layer. "This means that when the conveyor conveys the product, it does not produce any additional friction," he pointed out. Only one drive is needed for each spiral conveyor, so that substantial cost savings can be achieved in the integration of control and systems. The maximum conveying speed of these two spiral conveyors can reach 40 m/min.
